Christmas Card Swap From Friendly Crafters on Facebook with Dawn Taylor
Received my swap with Dawn last week but just got the pictures taken and feeling like working on my blog. Thank you for all the well wishes that I have had since my surgery a week and half ago. I'm doing well as to be expected for the type of surgery that I had. But I digress this isn't about that its about the wonderful things that Dawn sent to me......We were to make a card and then we could put in other goodies in a A5 envelope to our swap partners and Dawn Taylor was my partner. What is really crazy is that we both had lived in the same city but at different time. We both chose to just make something in any style or color that we chose. She did do mine in my favorite color but she didn't know that I love penguins. I love the card it is so cute. She also sent me lots of embellishments and an address book that I am going to use to keep all my Crafty Friends addresses in and then I will have them all in one place and not have to look for them here and there, (Now the biggest problem will be not loosing it on my so organized desk) LOL!!!!!
Hope you have a great week and enjoy getting ready for Christmas and New Years, I will be back before that to wish everyone a Happy Holiday's. Please leave a comment and for I do read them and really do appreciate your time.

Crazy Guilt Christmas Tree and Stocking and Pumpkins
I was watching Angela Holt's Shabby Chic Crazy Quit Stocking and decided to give it a whirl. So I have a large amount of burgundy velvet that I got from the Pastor of our church. I found a stocking template printed it out aunt started playing. I used all vintage lace that I have in my stash and I started gluing them on , The bling I got at Michaels in the bridle section and the appliques are from a wedding dress that I got not to long ago. Then I took a green snowflake and mad a simple flower and attached it to the top of the band. The tree I used the same things. I had a great time making these . I also made some more pumpkins with the same material . I still have two setting here that are large that I just
finished. LOL!!!! My desk is an never ending project. Thanks for stopping by and for leaving a comment for I do read them.... Have a great day.

Card For My Sister in Love's Birthday!!!!
I made this card for my Husband's sister. She loves purple and orange so I put them together not to bad a combination even if I do say so myself..... LOL!!!! I used a 5x7 card base and put some designer paper that I have had forever in my stash. I used a Saturated Carney Digital Image I believe, that I had colored a while ago, with Copic and Bic markers. Then I used some glitter pens that I have had since I first started doing cards. I fussy cut around the shoes and skirt and finished cutting it out with a Spellbinders Die. Then put it up on foaam tape. The sentiment is cut out with a Spellbinders Die also and the Peeloff's are from the UK but I bought them so long ago I can't remember where I purchased them from (Note to Self you had better remember for you are just about Out). The flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts which I won from Scrapbooking with ME on Facebook. The leaves are from Michael's and the little bow is from Seema At Friendly Crafters Facebook Group. We have a great time in this goup. This is and international group of crafters from beginners to professional so come join us we would love to see what you do. Back to the card. The butterflies are patterned paper that I punched out with a Martha Steward punch. Had a great time making this card especially since the colors were out of my comfort zone. Thanks for taking the time to stop by and taking a look. Please feel free to leave a comment for I read each and every one. Have a great day...

Vintage Style Bracelet
I made this Vintage Style Bracelet and had so much fun making it. I started out using blanket seam binding as my base. I used fray check to keep it from fraying on the ends. Then I glued seam binding down the center of the blanket seam binding the then glued the edges together with fabric tack. I then took some vintage lace that I have had in my stash, glued that to seam binding, then put on black lace that I got from Dee at Destash your Craft, It's so yummy and soft I also put silver mesh bling down the center of the black lace. Then I put two rosettes on each side of the vintage brooch that I have had forever, The concept of this is so easy and the possibilities are endless. Thanks for stopping by to take a look. Please feel free to leave a comment for I do read each and everyone. Have a great day. Hugs, Donalda

Thank You Card
This is a quick Thank You card that I made for a friend. She loves flowers and purple the same as I do. So I used this Magnolia Stamp and colored her with Copic Markers and Prisma Markers. I start out with a white card base then layered some Mary & Co paper from Michael's. I used some flowers that I have had in my stash for a while and I do not remember where I got them. The little flat flowers are recollections from Michael's that I got when they were on clearance. I added bling to the centers of the little flowers and stickles on the dress. Thanks for taking the time to stop by I really do appreciate your time and please feel free to leave a comment for I do read them,

Birthday Card for Hubby!!!!
Last Thursday was the love of my life's 62nd Birthday. He is a real nut about Mickey Mouse so I had to make him a Birthday card with his favorite characters on it. I started out with a card foundation from Michael's made of Kraft cardstock. I then put designer paper from 7 Gypsies Off The Wall 6x6 paper pack. I inked the sides with black soot distress ink by Tim Holtz. I put twine around that and adhered it to my card base. The pictures of Mickey and Minnie were from Pinterest I downsized them to fit the card and printed out several and inked them with black soot also. The sentiment label is from Spellbinders and I used peeloffs that I from my stash that I had purchase from the UK several years ago. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look at my newest creation. Have a great day. Please leave a comment for I do read them.
