I Did It

I signed up as a Stampin Up Demonstrator and I just received my kit and I have not had time yet to play with all of my new stamps. I already have a list of things that I want but my wants are a lot bigger than my pocket book. I am now going to have to start building my business so that it can take care of my wants. Please check back often as I go down this road so that you too can see the progress of the journey. Hope to post something in the next few days

Made a couple of cute cards

Hope everything is going well for you today!!!
It is extremely cold here today and we are in a severe weather warning for this evening. It is snowing, then sleeting and then some freezing rain going on. We live about 28 miles from the town where our youngest son works, we sent him down there today (it was his day off) to stay with his brother so that he doesn't have to drive in this in the morning. We have a very dangerous road that we have to travel on to the town where he works. It's bad enough when it's dry so it's better to be safe than sorry.
This card is a birthday card
The materials used is: Card made by DCWV and graphics from PC Crafters this months Hug club content called Just Ducky by Laurie Funell. She is one of my favorite graphic artist. Peel offs from the UK and ribbon from Dollar store
Elements for Hobby Lobby. I love glitter and this has some on it. They call me the glitter queen at church. LOL I would put it on everything if I could and I usually have some on me when I get to church ssssooo hence glitter queen.

This card is on a card by DCWV and the graphics are from PC Crafter, Cuddly Friends by artist Peggy Jo Ackley . Fiskers heart border punch.
Has some glitter on it but it is hard to see at this angle.
Have a safe and wonderful evening.

Teabag Folding

I found this wonderful site a while back called The Crafty Cow out of the UK. They have a program called Moovision which comes on at their time of 11:00 am to 1:00 pm every Friday.
I have to get up here in the Midwest to watch it at 6:00 am. They do different techniques every week for card making. This last Friday was teabag folding. You should watch if you can. They have a great time and they also have a forum with a great bunch of ladies and gentlemen.
I have learned so much from them all.
This is two of the cards I made using the technique that they showed. I had a wonderful time making them. Then I do with every card I make. LOL !!!! Materials are DCWV cards and paper purchased at Hobby Lobby.
Peel offs from the UK. This one is an anniversary card. The sentiments on the second is Follow your dreams.

Here We Go

This is my first time at doing a blog and I'm not sure that I will do it justice. I have been making cards and scrapbooking for a year now I love doing both. I want to be able to share some of them with you and I know that they will get better as time goes on. So if you see something you like please let me know. Most of my things will be from graphics I have bought or from the many freebies that is out there. If I know who the artist are I will let you know . Please give these talented people the respect that they deserve.
