I Love This Stamp Set

As a teenager we lived in the state of Washington and our yard was full of different types of flowers and one of my favorites was our lilac bushes. So when I saw this stamp set from Stampin Up I had to have it.
Stamped the image on Whisper White with Stampin up Eggplant ink, Kiwi Kiss and Old Olive the lighter color is Brilliance pearlescent purple.
The Whisper White was put on Eggplant card stock. Elements and ribbon form Michaels.
The sentiment is from Stampin up and it says my friend.

This picture is the inside of the card.
This is Friday and we are getting ready to go clean the church. So have a wonderful day

Finding My Way Out.

I'm finally finding my way out of the boxes. We have been moving and even though it was just a few blocks from where we did live it is still a lot of work for us now than it was a few years ago. I still can't find my camera or the cord to the scanner so I can get some of the cards that I have made before we started this move. We move from a 1200 square foot house to a 600 square foot apt. so I'm having to down size and boy is it hard. I'm having a time in finding what to do with all my stuff.
So my DH went and rented a storage unit a block away so that when I need it he will go get it. I have friends that said that their husbands would have said just get rid of it. I'm so bless to have my gem (Jim) . He has been so great all of these years, when my mother need a place to live (she was paralyzed from the waist down at the age of seventeen) after she and my father got a divorce. After 21 years of marriage she came to live with us and Jim took great care of her until she passed away from breast cancer at the age of 59. My grandfather also need a place to stay and he was with us until he passed at t89 years old. I don't know to many men that would take on that kind of responsibility. We celebrated 37 years of marriage August 20. I wouldn't change anything for all of the wonderful years he has given me. I almost lost him two years ago he had a triple by pass. He is doing better so please keep him in your praers for now he has to be my eyes for I'm have glaucoma. I have lost my sight in my right eye and have limited sight in my left. I can now longer drive or work so that is why we moved to a smaller place.
Have a great day and I will get things going again soon

Our Youngest Turned 24 Friday

Friday our youngest turned 24. We went to Applebee's for dinner with Kalvin and he's girlfriend Chelsie and our middle son Kurtis and his wife Amanda. On Saturday Jim came home and said you need to go with me to a garage sale they have a bunch of stamps that you might want. So we went and of course I wanted them. She had about 10 retired 1996 and on Stampin Up sets that were her mothers before she passed. Plus paper and single stamps, blender pens and color spritzer tool got it all for $25. I was so excited for the find. Now I get to play.
Have a great day
