My First Altered Cigar Box It's For My Husband Jim

I made this altered cigar box for my husband Jim.  He loves to take things apart especially old computers so I used some of the things that he has removed and added them to this box.  There are plastic gears that I distress with Tim Holtz Adirondac alcohol ink and put bling in the center.   Little light bulbs, conductors, springs and etc.  I used Grundge board letters and squares that I inked in black soot and gold alcohol ink then covered the letters with Glossy Accents. There is a Tim Holtz book plate also with the word loved stamped inside. I also have an Monopoly game piece (the car) for it is one of his favorite games to play.  The paper line is DCWV Tattered Time.

The inside of the box is distress with black soot and the paper is also from Tattered Time.
Jim is very much a romantic (one of the many things I love about him)  so he loves Phantom of the Opera.
So I have the mask in the left hand corner.  In the center I have some affirmations that I printed out and some really cute quotes and the top one being a copy of a ticket to Disneyland (he's favorite place to visit).
The altered  domino is our engagement picture which I printed on tissue paper and distress the domino with alcohol inks and covered with Glossy Accents.

A closer shot of the mask.  It is a pendent that I picked up at a garage sale

The right hand corner has a piece of  chain with a Tim Holtz saying fragment and Chic Elements attached to it.

This is the bottom of the inside of the box I just covered it with black felt.

This is a the front of the box.  I distressed with Linen Crackle and rubbed black soot into it. Attached feet all by Tim Holtz.  Took some of the paper and ripped it and added it with Modge Podge .  The bottom of the box is covered with black card stock

Thanks for looking and I appreciate any and all comments.  I do read them.  If you would like to see a video of this box check out my Youtube channel on the right hand side
Thanks again
